From Sketch to Canvas

Each artwork evolves through a structured process: sketch, pochade (oil study), master canvas, and a series of variations. One artistic DNA, expressed through different tensions.

About Mallar

Mallar is a contemporary abstract painter based in Québec City, exploring inner tension, resilience, and the silences that shape the human experience.

La tension est au coeur  de mes compositions. Elle dépasse l'idée du conflit pour devenir un équilibre fragile, où compositions, couleur, lumière, matière et silence dialoguent afin de maintenir le regard dans un espace de transformation.
